Mindfulness

I feel that this shows how even with a brain injury you can shine. I used all greens because it is his favorite color. I wanted to add the fight because it is called Fight For Luke.

Hope & Courage

The artwork I have made is a reflection of the beauty of raising awareness. The story Team Luke shares reminds me of how important it is to have hope and courage through hard things- especially an event such as a brain injury. The flower designs represent the blossoming and growth that takes place when Team Luke helps enrich the lives of children with brain injuries and their families.

Dandelion Hope

I did this design mainly because of the dandelion! I picked the dandelion because just like a dandelion the seeds fall off and go with the wind to plant more of them and just because the seeds may fly with the wind doesn’t mean it’s over for the dandelion it’s still going strong and as the dandelion grows again it has planted many more dandelions with the seeds that have flown in the wind and it has caused many others happiness because they get to see the beautiful dandelion and sometimes make a wish on them while they blow it! (So moral of the story is that just because you feel done for and useless you’ve caused so much more happiness and soon you’ll realize that you made a difference and soon also realize that you're gonna grow and thrive again!!) Hard times are just when we have to show how strong we are!!

Good Thoughts

What inspired me to draw this is because I want to make it seem like the brain is growing, but in a beautiful way and add a green concept to it. The message of this drawing is what the good thoughts grow like a flower. This is really my first time ever drawing anything like this, so I really don’t have any special techniques.

Hope for Minds

Honestly, i just saw it and needed to do it. I took a brain and drew it and wrote brain injury awareness (because obviously that's what it's about) and took his favorite color and that's how i got it. And, yes, the font i did (took me FOREVER)

Team Luke

I loved all of the green on the website, I took one of the colors then made a pallette with it. I made the squiggly shapes because that's kinda how a brain looks like, a bunch of squiggly stuff. The dots represent the people helped Not all the dots are perfect either, like people. Idk I also just really liked the design.

Keep Growing

I chose this design because no matter how hard it gets you gotta keep going and I used this because when it rains it’s easy for people to say, “ it’s ugly and rainy outside.” But if you look at it from another perspective yea it may be raining but so things like plants are growing and thriving because of it! Moral of the story.. ( when life gets tough and it feels like it’s just raining so hard and nothing is easy anymore and it’s easy to give up, you have to remember the goodness that comes from rain ( hard times ) . After rain it’s usually sunshine or maybe a rainbow and if it’s not any of those then there’s gonna be an even bigger joyful moment or a time that WILL COME, just keep growing even when it gets hard! The rain ( hard times ) will help you grow and make you stronger! Keep growing even when it feels like it’s over! Let the rain ( tough times ) Help you not define you! And understand that the hard times are here to help not to stay forever!!!
